4-hour block spanning foundation models, transformer architecture, and pretraining objectives, with a focus on surgical applications and the clinical workflow.
4-hour block spanning temporal modelling approaches and a hands-on session on surgical workflow recognition.
Hands-on tutorial on transfomers for medical computer science students as part of the deep learning in medicine course.
Coordinated the elective session, which provides hands-on training for medical students on patient-specific minimally invasive surgical mitral valve repair simulator.
Covered the fundamentals of foundation models and healthcare-specific challenges, with a thorough case-study on MedSAM.
As part of Assistance systems in Healthcare, this was a breadth-wise lecture focusing on AI applciations in navigation and assistance systems in surgery.
Mentored and worked on a team project with medical computer science students, that worked on multi-view, temporal surgical instrument detection.
Mentored and worked on a multidisciplinary team project containing medical students and medical computer science students, that worked on surgical instrument segmentation.

Work as an educator
In my previous job, I've worked as an empanelled trainer for corporate firms and universities in Tamil Nadu, India - something I loved doing. I had the pleasure of delivering training program for people from various walks of life and age groups, ranging from software engineering for university students, advanced desktop skills for IT firms, factory staff, and senior executives.
